Having only his third career start, Ultimate Edition donkey-licked his rivals by 5.5-lengths in the $35,000 3YO & Up Maiden, (1600m) with Damien Lane aboard.
Ledger said he has always had a healthy opinion of Ultimate Edition who is nominated for the Victorian Derby.
"He is certainly an exciting horse and we have already had numerous offers from overseas interests about buying the horse," Ledger said.
"He is a class act and the sort of horse you wait years for to arrive at your stable.
"So he is certainly not for sale.
"It was an awesome win and since he first arrived at the stable he has shown a stack of potential.
"On Wednesday he delivered on that.
"He is a big, strong horse, has a great nature and is very athletic."

Ultimate Edition ($5) pounced on the early lead after drawing favourably in barrier five.
The son of Helmet was always travelling like a winner and had most of his rivals off the bit turning for home.
Ultimate Edition showed an impressive turn of foot once Lane released the brakes to score a soft win.
Ledger said he was surprised when Lane took up the early running.
"I don't think he will develop into a front-runner and that's not really his caper," he said.
"All his training has involved sitting on the back of two or three runners.
"He relaxes really well and shows a good turn of foot when he gets some clean air.
"So the leading is just a part of his maturity and he is just jumping well and setting the pace.
"But if something else led, we would be more than happy to take a sit.
"At the moment he has just got so much natural ability that he cruises along anyway."
Ledger owns a small share in Ultimate Edition with loyal stable client Julie Madgwick the major owner.
"Julie has supported the stable for more than 30-years," he said.
"She loves racing and nobody is looking at what the horse is worth and instead looking forward to the thrill of racing a really nice horse."
Ledger said he would now dare to dream and hoped Ultimate Edition could measure up to be a Victorian Derby contender.
The three-year-old's odds for the group one staying classic were slashed from 150/1 to 26/1 after the impressive Bendigo win.
"I've never previously had a Derby runner," he said.
"Brave Chief was my last group one runner but unfortunately he had to race against Sunline and Northerly."
