Lesslie appeared in court on a video link from custody, wearing a face mask.
He did not speak.

His lawyer Geoff Clancy said police had compiled a brief of evidence which he would receive after Thursday's proceedings.
He said discussions would need to be held in coming weeks before the matter returned.
"Your honour should be ready to proceed then, one way or the other," he told magistrate Ian Watkins.
Mr Watkins adjourned the matter to November 24 and asked if Lesslie would make a bail application.
"Not today, your honour," Mr Clancy replied.
"One may be forthcoming, but not today."
His client will remain in custody.
Dylan Meyers, who was a passenger in the crashed car, will return to court on November 18 following an alleged aggravated burglary in Wangaratta three days before the crash.
