One of the standout battles was the section one men's clash between Uiver Park Bulls and St Patricks/Diggerville, with an unbeaten Zac Burhop steering Bulls to victory.
Brock Dixon and Lachlan Graetz lent support, while Jade Culph was his team's best.

An unbeaten Sean Pillay and Rob Cabion saw Albury Gold earn a tough win over Thurgoona Sharks.

Forrest Hill Blues started strongly to hold out SPD Green in section three, while Forrest Hill Tigers completely outclassed SPD White.
Albury Foxes and Wodonga Eagles were locked in a tight battle when the match was halted.
Glenly Gold and Wodonga Knights were similarly placed against Wodonga Pirates and Thurgoona Bears, respectively.
A team effort from Harry Hodgkin, Eamon Fergus and Angus Avery gave Wodonga Bears the win in section four against SPD Gold.

SPD Purple had a two-game triumph against Forrest Hill Swans in section five, SPD Black accounted for Albury Cougars and Albury Vipers defeated Albury Magpies.
The final women's pennant round before the Christmas break was played at the Albury grasscourts on Tuesday.
Bulle (3-30) stayed on top in section one with a four-game salute over Wurtz (3-26), Landy (4-34) got past Peacock (2-24), as Sands (4-35) pipped Spencer (2-31).
Section two leaders Aylmore (3-28) drew with Howard (3-28), while Sheil (4-31) stayed in touch after it defeated Quirk (2-21).
Merritt (4-28) and Johnson (4-32) starred in section three with wins against Jones (2-23) and Huckstepp (2-25), respectively.
The next North East veteran's tournament is at Numurkah on Sunday.
