A man in his 50s died yesterday when his car left the road and hit a tree near Wakool.
Emergency services were called to Burraboi Road, near Wakool, 250 kilometres north-west of Albury, about 7.10pm yesterday after receiving reports a car had left the road and crashed.
Upon arrival police found the man deceased.

The driver is yet to be formally identified, but police say the man is aged in his 50s.
A crime scene has been established and diversions are in place around the accident site while police and specialist officers investigate the crash.
A report outlining the circumstances of the man's death will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
