The former Riverina league player, who won Turvey Park's best and fairest last year, injured his hand in a practice match against Yackandandah last month, but was cleared of major damage.
It's a timely boost for the Hoppers who had a horror pre-season on the injury front, headlined by a knee setback to Josh Lloyd.

"I got an x-ray and nothing came up on that and I went and got an MRI and there was some bone bruising and ligament damage," Weidemann said.
"It's fully healed and I'm pain-free and ready to go.
"I don't have to wear a guard or anything, just strapping."
Weidemann lined up for North Albury in 2019 and returned to home club Turvey Park last year to play in the AFL Riverina Championship after COVID-19 shut down the Ovens and Murray.
