Albury United made it three in a row with a comfortable 5-0 win against Wodonga Diamonds at Jelbart Park on Saturday night to jump to third.
Gauthier Robin opened the scoring in the 20th minute and co-captain Caleb Martin gave the Greens a 2-0 lead at the break.
Melkie Woldemichael, James Carr and substitute Dylan Mountain were all on target in the second half.
Wangaratta got back in the winner's circle with a 6-1 salute over St Pats on Sunday.
Adam Burchell was on fire with four goals, while Dan Kelly and youngster Kai Lyster were also on target.
Carlos Hassan continued his top form with a goal right on half-time for St Pats.
