Albury-Wodonga Spitfire Jeremy Payne, who has previously represented ACT at national level, was picked in the men's Avalanche side.
Former Border players Oscar Smart (Old Canberrans) and James Jewell (Wests) were both given the nod for the Blizzard team.

Meanwhile, Rutherglen's Grace Ronnfeldt won selection into the women's Avalanche line-up for her impressive start to the Capital League season with North Canberra Eagles.
The series starts on Friday night at the National Hockey Centre, with further matches on June 18 and July 16.
