Both Wangaratta sides sit in the top three and are firm contenders for the 2021 Ovens and Murray premiership.
The Hawks prevailed in the first meeting of the season back in April by 14 points and can go a long way towards securing a double chance if they can beat their arch rival for a second time.
Rovers will be missing a handful of their profile multiple point players, including Ryan Hebron and Tyler Cornish due to COVID restrictions in Sydney and the Gold Coast respectively, but the visitors still have enough talent to score an upset.
Wangaratta's impressive defence with siblings Jamie and Mark Anderson supporting Michael Bordignon and Dylan Van Berlo, means Rovers will need exciting full-forward Alex Marklew to produce a big performance.
