Clubs were asked to vote on whether they would support a return for round 14, following the end of Victoria's fifth lockdown this week.
TDNA president Judy Loorham said majority of clubs were in favour of playing, despite no crowds being permitted south of the border under the latest restrictions.
"They possibly considered it, but they still voted to get back and play," Loorham said.
"It's a chance to get in and start playing some netball when you can, because you just never know what's going to happen.
"One thing that is always of concern is what may or may not happen with our border and whether or not there's any tightening of restrictions.
"It is what it is and we'll make the best of what we've got."
With Thurgoona being the only NSW-based club in the league, a home game for them this weekend means they are allowed to have spectators under the current NSW guidelines.
While Loorham stressed that players don't have to feel obligated to return, those that do must adhere to the COVID principles issued by Netball Victoria.

All grades, including juniors, will return on Saturday.
"Hopefully it gives them a bit of normality back in their lives," Loorham said.
Clubs have now been able to return to training after the two-week lockdown.
The round 14 fixture will see Chiltern host Beechworth, Wahgunyah travel to meet Dederang Mt Beauty, Kiewa-Sandy Creek to clash with Rutherglen, Tallangatta to face Barnawartha, Wodonga Saints to collide with Mitta United and Thurgoona to play Yackandandah.
After 12 games so far, reigning premiers Kiewa-Sandy Creek currently sit on top of the ladder with 10 wins, just edging out second placed Tallangatta on percentage.
They're followed by Yackandandah, Mitta United and Chiltern to round out the competition's top five.
The easing of Victorian restrictions means Hume League netballers south of the border will be able to rejoin their teammates this weekend for round 15.
The change will be welcomed by Henty, who was forced to forfeit their clash against Jindera due to players caught in lockdown.
