The Azzi medalist suffered a punctured lung and broken ribs playing against Osborne just four weeks ago but was back with a bang at Burrumbuttock.
"He was good and he could have kicked a couple more," Saints coach Kade Stevens said.
"He was a good target for us to kick to.
"He copped a few knocks early, which didn't hurt him at all, so that was the most pleasing part for me as coach, that we hadn't called it too early.
"He's got through, he's been bashed around a fair bit but pulled up 100 percent on Sunday.
"It's a massive boost to have him back. You walk taller when he runs out with you.
"He had to be medically cleared, for his and my peace of mind, and he could definitely have done with one more week off but with the massive heart that he has, he just wanted to be out there.
"Players like him don't like sitting on the sidelines."
ALSO IN SPORT:
Seiter's haul ultimately made the difference as the Saints won by 12.10 (82) to 9.14 (68), with two goals each for Jarah McMillan, Keith Tallent and Willson Mack.
Tyler Lampe and Baxter Macfarlane snared three apiece for the Spiders.
Mack, Jeremy Luff and Tyson Neander were among the Saints' best.
"We were in control at the start but they kept in the contest for the rest of the game and it was never really a safe lead," Stevens said.
"They were a side we wanted to play well against because we failed to do that last time we played them.
"They gave us a real touch-up and it was something the boys wanted to commit to.
"We're in a position where it's entirely up to us, we've just got to win our next two games and that cements it.
"When you're relying on other wins and losses, out of your control, it's a different ball game but we're in a position now that if we win our next two, we play finals.
"That's a good position to be in."
Elsewhere, third-placed Rand-Walbundrie-Walla crushed Billabong Crows by 81 points at Walla to guarantee finals football.
The margin could have been even greater as the Giants prevailed 14.18 (102) to 3.3 (21) to leave themselves sitting on an impressive 11-4 record.
