Due to the recent state-wide lockdown in NSW, all round 18 matches scheduled for this weekend have been cancelled, with the league's finals to commence the following Sunday, pending NSW is no longer on stay at home orders and COVID restrictions placed upon Border residents from the Victorian and NSW governments allow community sport to continue.
All qualifying finals for football and netball will be played at Norm Minns Oval, while W.J. Findlay is set to stage the elimination finals.
In senior football, Wangaratta and Wangaratta Rovers will meet in the qualifying final, while Myrtleford will clash with Wodonga Raiders next door in the eliminator.
Yarrawonga and Wangaratta face-off in the A grade netball qualifying final, with Lavington to take on Myrtleford in a sudden death showdown.
"We're determined to see the season reach its conclusion," Ovens and Murray chairman David Sinclair said.
"Understanding that the finals series may be impacted by further interruptions, extending the season beyond September 19 remains an option for the league to consider."
Nine of the league's 10 clubs will compete in this year's finals series.
