But like the rest of the Hume League finals hopefuls, the Bulldogs now face the task of continuing that momentum while separated.
"Our team morale is high at the moment, so I know we will be ready to regroup face-to-face when we can," coach Tegan Vogel said.
"This week we'll be doing some Zoom training sessions together."
With the league cancelling the last round, the waiting game now begins as to when finals can proceed.

The Tigers, Bulldogs, Demons, Crows, Spiders and Giants remain the last teams standing.
"With the constant changes among the different states and all of the unknowns, I think the focus should be trying to get to finals when we can," Vogel said.
"We know that everyone steps it up a notch in finals, so we will be looking at how we can do the same, as it's a tight top six."
