The league has opted for a condensed three-week finals series starting next weekend on September 4.
Saturday, October 2 is the latest the league is prepared to stage its grand final.
The commencement of the finals still hinges on both regional NSW and Victoria exiting lockdown by next weekend.
The NSW regional lockdown is now set to end at 12:01am on Saturday.
While regional Victoria remains in lockdown until at least September 2.
A decision regarding regional NSW's lockdown is expected to be announced today.

Deputy Premier John Barilaro flagged previously it was possible LGAs with no cases could be released from lockdown.
Clubs have until next week to vote on the proposed finals series and more clarity surrounding lockdowns.
Osborne president Jason Gooden applauded the league for its proactive approach to staging a finals series.
The Tigers have all grades of football and all grades of netball with the exception of the 15 and under in the finals series.
"The league is doing everything in its power to play finals and that's all you can ask," Gooden said.
"The players and volunteers of all clubs have worked hard all season and the reward is to be able to play finals."
The proposed new finals format will still include the top-six teams.

WEEK 1
Match 1: Saturday - Third v Sixth.
Match 2: Sunday - Fourth v Fifth.
WEEK 2
Match 3: Saturday - First v Winner Match 2.
Match 4: Sunday - Second v Winner Match 1.
WEEK 3
Match 5: Saturday, Grand finals - Winner Match 3 v Winner Match 4.
