Miller temporarily relocated to Darwin in mid-June to escape the freezing conditions in Canberra.
He rode predominantly for local trainer Chris Nash.
The pair combined to win the feature sprint of the carnival, the $130,000 Palmerston Sprint, (1200m) with Mayameen.
It handed Miller the biggest win of his career.
Miller also finished runner-up in the $200,000 Darwin Cup, (2050m) aboard Danon Roman which is also trained by Nash.
The experienced hoop said he enjoyed the change of scenery.

"It was a terrific experience and I ended up staying three weeks longer than I originally planned," Miller said.
"With COVID-19 affecting NSW and Canberra there was no point rushing back.
"I also rode at Alice Springs and Katherine so that was something a bit different.
"It's definitely something that I'm keen to do again in the future for sure.
"The lifestyle is unbelievable and you walk around in a T-shirt and thongs all the time.
"The coldest it got was 20 degrees and most of the time it was 30 plus."

Miller started his Darwin stint in quiet fashion before finishing with a flurry.
"I was riding mainly for Stephen Brown and 'Nashie' (Chris) and most of the horses were being aimed for the carnival so it was a bit quiet when I first got to Darwin," he said.
"But I was lucky enough to win the Palmerston over the carnival which was a huge thrill and the biggest win of my career.
"Then I finished second in the Darwin Cup and was close to landing the two biggest races of the carnival."
Miller revealed the owners of Darwin Cup runner-up Danon Roman in Ozzie Kheir and Brae Sokolski also race reigning Cox Plate winner Sir Dragonet.
Miller plans to base himself in Albury over the upcoming spring carnival.
