The Tallangatta & District football and netball season has been called off due to COVID.
And no premierships will be awarded for the year.
However, minor premiers, the Barton Medal, other best and fairests and individual awards will be recognised at a date to be determined.
The NSW Government's decision to extend its lockdown until midnight, September 10, played a major role in the decision.
"The TDFL Senior footballers last played on the 10th of July and the TDFL & TDNA Executives make this decision with the best interests of our players, volunteers and general football netball community's health and wellbeing after such a long and challenging period away from playing," a press release around 1pm said.
