The 25-year-old has Perthes Disease, a degenerative condition, with the former ACT captain to have a sixth operation on his left hip.
"It's terrible," Condon replied when quizzed on his hip.
"I'm booked in for a partial hip replacement on October 7, so I won't be playing much this year.
"My plan is to be back and qualify for finals, but I've got to get to Melbourne for surgery so COVID could put the brakes on that."
Condon joined North midway through last season.
"I said at the start before I came down I think I'll be better as a mentor than a player these days," he suggested in relation to his hip.
