The Bushies' captain-coach was uncertain of his future over winter.
"I wasn't sure what I was going to do, but my fitness and health is pretty good now, so I'll carry on in the same role," he offered.

The 41-year-old is one of the association's longest-serving leaders during a tremendously consistent period.
The Bushies missed finals last season for the first time, remarkably, since the 2006-07 season.
The end of 13 successive finals campaigns was due, in part, to COVID's impact, with the club unable to recruit overseas players, which it has done so successfully for so many years.
Armstrong is also coming off his best season with the bat in five years.
The right-hand top-order batsman posted 459 runs at 33, with three half-centuries.
His output with the ball over the past two seasons is also his best since 2014-15.
