The three new Wodonga cases were members of the same household and have been isolating at home.
Albury Wodonga Health said no further exposure sites were expected.
These three latest cases bring the total number of cases in Wodonga to six.
The first case, reported last Friday, became positive as a result of close contact with a COVID-positive person while working outside of the region. The additional five cases are household contacts of the first case.
Another case of a young woman returned from Melbourne is no longer included in the Wodonga case numbers as she had returned to Melbourne.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Meanwhile, following investigations after an initial inconclusive result, the COVID-19 case in Indigo Shire has been confirmed as a false-positive by the Department of Health's Expert Review Panel.
The associated exposure sites in Alpine and Indigo shires have been removed from the Victorian Government COVID-19 exposure site listing.
Albury Wodonga Health said it was reassuring news for the individual, their family, and the community.
"We would like to praise the individual and their family for their efforts in following public health directions and, in the process, keeping their community safe," Albury Wodonga Health said in a social media post.
Three testing clinics will open in Wodonga today and tomorrow.
Weekend opening times will be available via Albury Wodonga Health website and social media pages.
