The case has been identified as a household contact of a previously known case to the MLHD, which has remained in isolation.
The MLHD has recorded 37 COVID cases since the start of the Delta outbreak, with 25 of those identified in the Hilltops region.

The total number of vaccines administered in NSW is now 10.3 million.
NSW Health recorded six more deaths from COVID-19, Dr Jeremy McAnulty said in delivering the Monday COVID-19 update.
As of this morning, NSW appears on track to welcome the first stage of reopening next week on Monday, October 11.

The MLHD revealed several exposure sites linked to the recent cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, October 3.
The four latest venues of concern in Deniliquin were added to what has become a growing list, NSW Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant voicing her concern for the town during Sunday's COVID-19 update.
Vic Health also reached out the MLHD, after a known Victorian case visited the Rich River Golf Club and restaurant on Sept 24, and Merool Holiday Park on Sept 24 and Sept 26.
