Lavington debutant Jordan Rhodes snared a wicket with his second ball in the thumping win over New City in Cricket Albury-Wodonga on Saturday.
The right-arm off-spinner had Gagandeep Dhunna caught for six in snaring 1-4 in his only over.
Rhodes was one of four youngsters, joining Oscar Lyons, Eddy Schultheis and Brady Marshall.
"It was awesome to have the four kids in there," premiership captain Michael Galvin offered.
