Sharks have redeemed some revenge on reigning premiers Pool Pirates following a narrow one goal win during Sunday's season opener.

It somewhat mirrored last season's decider, with each team going goal for goal at the Albury Swim Centre before the Sharks fought back from a two goal deficit in the final term.
Leah Dodd led the way for the victors with five goals, while Phebe McLeod, Jodie Millett and Brooke Dickie all scored two each.
Abi Sexton and Chelsea Isaac both scored three goals, with two from Ryleigh Hogan and Tegan Miles.
In the other A-grade women's match, Albury defeated Northside/Wodonga 10-6.
Co-coach Lucy McInnes starred for the victors, while Ally Christie top scored with three goals for her side.
Northside/Wodonga youngsters Bec Madew and Lalia Bell also put up a good fight.

This season is the first time the combined women's side has played for points.
In the A-grade men's competition, reigning premiers Northside stunned Pool Pirates to swim away with a 13-3 win.
Tyson Mutsch and Sam Beddoes were the best for the Stingrays, scoring seven goals between them.
Tom Duck scored five goals in his return for Albury, helping the Tigers to a 13-5 win against the Sharks.
Jack Blomley was also good in his return for the victors, while Oliver Cooper scored two goals for the undermanned Sharks.
