Passion, Politics and Partying will be presented by Murray Conservatorium Choir at separate Albury and Wodonga events in a nod to the federal election.
The performances include choruses from some of the world's best known operas, such as Carmen, Aida and La Traviata.

Led by music director Pippa Andrew, the choir will highlight the stories behind the well-loved tunes, which are tales of love, loss and joy.
English translations will help bring the narratives to life, with the music described as rousing and timeless.
"Enjoy a musical respite from the real-life politics of that weekend," a choir spokeswoman said.
The concerts will be held in St Matthew's Anglican Church, Albury, on Saturday, May 18, at 7.30pm and St John's Anglican Church, Wodonga, on Sunday, May 19, at 2.30pm.
Tickets are available from Regent Cinemas Albury or from choir members.
