Wangaratta won their first premiership last season and are hoping to go back-to-back when they face Corowa-Rutherglen on Sunday.
Having the two sides in the decider signifies a shift in the competition, with the Roos lining up in their first ever A-grade grand final.

"We played our first one only last year, so we're still really new to playing grand finals and finals in general," Crimmins said.
"It's really exciting for both towns and clubs, given that we're relatively new to the finals experience and grand finals.
"To play in another finals series with pretty much the same group of girls is really exciting and we're just really looking forward to Sunday."
The Magpies overcame a close scare from Yarrawonga in the prelim to secure their spot in the big one.
