After just two seasons of football, Corowa export Cathy Svarc has been drafted by Brisbane for the 2020 AFLW campaign.

The 27-year-old was selected by the Lions in the first round of the draft on Tuesday with pick 16.
The midfielder and halfback played in all three QW Winter Series victories for the Lions and was part of the club's AFLW train on squad this year.
Svarc plays for Wilston Grange in the QAFLW competition and was named in the midfield in the Team of the Year, as well as winning her club's best and fairest.

The former Corowa-Rutherglen A grade netballer is thrilled to have the chance to live out her AFLW dream.
"When I got to Brisbane last year, I hadn't played weekend sport in a little while and it was a good way to meet people as well, so I thought I'd give footy a crack," Svarc said.
"It went from one thing to next quite quickly last year, I got picked up in a winter series game, which is one of the representative games and trained with Brisbane over summer.
"It sort of accelerated things along being in that higher level environment and this year I played the full winter series, which was three games against the Gold Coast Suns and got my foot in.
"I was still nervous because it was all a bit surreal, but to be invited down to Melbourne in the first round was unreal to be put in high regard."
Svarc's younger sister, Ruby, is on Essendon's VFLW list and was a key inspiration for her to take up football.
Meanwhile, the Murray Bushrangers had another young prospect land at an AFLW club.
Mooroopna's Millie Brown became Geelong's very first AFLW father-daughter selection when she was taken by the Cats with pick 11.
She is the daughter of Geelong's Paul Brown, who played 84 games and kicked 66 goals during his nine seasons at AFL level.
Brown enjoyed a strong season, captaining the Murray Bushrangers as well as co-captaining Victoria Country.
The key defender also played for Geelong's VFLW team.
Brown becomes the third Murray Bushranger to be drafted to the AFLW, with Rebecca Webster going to Geelong last year, while Iilish Ross was picked up by Collingwood in 2017.
Ross signed with Richmond for its inaugural AFLW campaign in 2020.
