On Monday it reduced its capacity from 162 seats to 80 in the Butter Factory Theatre in Wodonga.
Yesterday morning new public health guidelines banned gatherings of more than 100 people at indoor venues.
MORE CORONAVIRUS NEWS:
HotHouse said the reduction of the theatre by more than half enabled social distancing for patron comfort.
"This remains in place, along with our extensive precautionary measures," it said.
HotHouse Theatre general manager Michael Huxley said with all available advice the season would go ahead.
"We are committed to continuing with the presentation of Breaking The Castle next week," he said.
"This tour-de-force performance will be a powerful experience for our region and an opportunity to come together as a community."
