The Wangaratta Magistrates Court on Thursday heard a second man was yet to be identified, but that Meyers' DNA was located inside the property.
A report will need to be produced.

"The crux of the case is likely to rest on the forensic evidence," lawyer Jackson McLeod said, noting the identity of the pair involved was an issue.
Police have told the court Meyers was filmed by security cameras running through a nearby Caltex service station after the incident.
Meyers was a passenger in a vehicle which crashed into a family's Kia minivan a few days after the aggravated burglary and handed himself in to police, and remains in custody.
The case will return next Thursday for special mention.
