Dave Smith opened the scoring after a good turnover from Tim Toogood at the halfway line in the second quarter and he finished with two for the game, while Charley Wallace and Luke Jobbins were also on target.
Wombats produced a 5-4 upset win against Magpies.
James Ellis scored twice in the victory, while Leigh Foulston, Ethan Savige and Mitchell Smith were able to find the back as well.
