WODONGA Police is treating a car fire in a residential area in the city's west at the weekend as suspicious.

Police were called to Hibbett Crescent about 7pm on Saturday after a 2008 model Ford sedan went up in flames.
"Wodonga detectives are appealing to anyone in the community who may have seen somebody in close vicinity of this car," Detective Leading Senior Constable Ian Deverell said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It's been a random attack on that vehicle.
"The car was parked on the road and an unknown person has come forward and set the car on fire.
"The owner is quite devastated by this event."
The car is valued at about $14,000.
