Twenty-nine-year-old Jackins Olam arrived in Australia for the 2020 season with Newtown, but played only two games before COVID intervened.
He then joined Altona Roosters in Melbourne this year.
Justin Olam has quickly built a reputation as the NRL's most ferocious back with his blockbusting running and crash tackling defence.
Jackins also boasts a powerhouse game.
The Thunder finished second last in Group Nine this year.
