Seam bowler Mitch Lauritzen ripped through the middle and lower order to snare 4-5 from 4.3 miserly overs, while opener Kieran McCarthy claimed Shannon Terlich (three runs), who was coming off successive centuries to start the season.
"Kieran has taken the new ball this year, he was always getting wickets, so we thought we'd give him a crack and this year he's been a revelation for us, taking key wickets," regular captain Tom Simmons, who was unavailable for the match, explained.
McCarthy also top-scored with 31 in Walla's 8-118 from 40 overs on the slow outfield.
Henty was demolished for only 45, with Nick Newton (18 runs) the only player to make double figures.
Walla newcomer Blake Lieschke almost completed a catch of the year contender, diving to his left in the gully, while fellow debutant Jarryd Weeding scored 19 runs.
Elsewhere, the Perryman brothers torpedoed Brocklesby-Burrumbuttock.
Veteran Darren Howard captured 3-27 as the visitors posted 9-130, with Harry Weaven making 34.
Opener Ed Perryman struck 63 not out, while Joe (33) and Harry (15no) chipped in during the thumping eight-wicket win.
And The Rock Yerong Creek toppled Culcairn.
Oscar Willis (39), Cooper Pumpa (38) and Mark Alcorn (36) contributed in the 7-173 as Rory Jenkins nabbed 3-19.
The visitors' No.9 Riley Knobel hit 45 as Culcairn replied with 132, Alcorn snaring 4-15.
