Division one women's premiers Falcons were pushed all the way by CR United in a 2-0 win at Wodonga Hockey Centre on Sunday.

An early goal from Casey Hunter put Falcons in control, but sterling defence from Taylor Rosewarne kept United in the game.
A late goal by Ellie Florence in the final term after a spirited attack by Kate McKee sealed the win for Falcons.
Wodonga was a class above in its 4-1 win over Magpies.
Kyrie Hardwick, Danielle McLeish and Elizabeth Hogg were among the goals for Wodonga, while Lily Robertson scored for Magpies.
