Ticket sales for the musical by Queen and Ben Elton halted this week when 50 per cent venue capacity was reached for seven shows at Albury Entertainment Centre from July 30.
They will be joined by a stellar cast of rock stars the likes of Border performers Niki Strauss, Simon Goss, John Parry and an experienced ensemble.
We Will Rock You director Tim McLaren said the 50 cast and crew - all based in the Border Bubble zone - felt grateful they could go ahead within the restrictions.
"Unfortunately the arts industry has been hammered with COVID and a lot of touring shows are feeling the pinch," he said.
"Being local we're very fortunate but we're still impacted with the reduced ticket sales.
"It's also affecting the family of players on the stage who may miss out on seeing their loved ones who have been working on this show for two-and-a-half years.
"If people can't make the show because of where they live or COVID restrictions maybe they could pass on their ticket to someone locally."
IN OTHER NEWS:
"The community on the Border needs some fun," McLaren said.
"Once again, on the Border we're feeling the impact (of the pandemic) from both sides."
The show runs July 30 to August 7.
Albury Entertainment Centre Box Office has a wait list should extra tickets or shows be deemed possible.
